Our Night on the Farm is an annual fundraising event that invites our community to celebrate and enjoy the very best of our farms’ abundance with the help of local partners! This farm-to-table event is always guaranteed to fill your belly with food and your heart with community fresh from the farm. Whether you’re having a date night out, enjoying a group of friends, or riding solo, your local farm is definitely the place to be.

2024 guests will look forward to the culinary creations from returning chefs Alex Astranti of Cerebellum Dinners, Andrea Condes of Four Directions Cuisine, and Tim and Erin Kuklinski of Bistro Vendome!

Our farmers will design mocktails with farm-fresh ingredients, served alongside a curated selection of beverages from Grüvi. The booze pull will give folks the opportunity to “pick a card, any card” and take bottles home, with winning local options from Laws Whiskey House, Colorado Cider Company, and more! Confluence Music Group will also be joining us again to bring everyone live music that matches the party!

Check out this year’s event booklet to learn more details about the night!

Please keep in mind, Sprout City Farms is only hosting ONE Night on the Farm event this year, so 2024 tickets are a must-buy. You don’t want to miss out!

2022 FARM DINNER AT DENVER GREEN SCHOOL COMMUNITY FARM

Before dinner, we kicked off the evening with mocktails and field tours with our farmers to showcase our work in community food access, education, and sustainable agriculture.

Guests took the opportunity to enjoy the 6-course meal at community tables to get to know fellow guests, or reserved a private table for a more intimate experience. This option will be available again during 2023 Night on the Farm ticket sales.

Dinner was prepared by Executive Chef Alex Astranti and his team from Mercantile Restaurant!

2022 Night on the Farm at Jack’s solar

The second annual Night on the Farm event at Jack’s Solar Farm featured cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, farm tours, and live music! This event was put on in special partnership with AgriSolar Clearinghouse, as it was a stop on the “Follow the Sun” national agrivotaic tour.

We filled our field with farm-fresh small plates and hors d’oeuvres, drinks galore from local breweries/distilleries/shops, live music, and plenty of activities! We kicked off the evening with field tables of Sprout City Farms and our research partners to showcase our work in the burgeoning field of agrivoltaics. It was the perfect opportunity to learn about the work of our research partners at National Renewable Energy Laboratory, University of Arizona, and Colorado State University!

The night included an auction of local goods and experiences, so be prepared for some friendly bidding competition! We also enjoyed the live music performance of local band members of Distance Walk.

Tasty food was prepared by local chef Sean Gafner, of Longmont favorites The Roost, Jefes, Smokin Bowls, and Swaylos Tiki restaurants. Guests enjoyed not only a solar-grown meal but also pairings with locally-brewed beverages from Laws Whiskey House, Westfax Brewing, and Colorado Cider Company!
