About
Mountair Park
Community Farm

The Mountair Park (MAP) Community Farm is a 1.5-acre organic vegetable farm established in the spring of 2014 on the grounds of Mountair Park in partnership with the City of Lakewood, as part of the 20-Minute Neighborhood Initiative for the West Colfax area.

MAP offers educational programs including workshops, volunteer days, field trips, and tours; and hosts community events throughout the season that are tailored to the surrounding neighborhood.

Historically, half of the harvest has been allocated to food access efforts, including:

2025 Farm Plan

With community help, we’ll re-launch the farm in 2025!  We'll hire staff, host community listening sessions, revitalize our soil and irrigation systems, and distribute all the food we grow through no-cost and low-cost programs to support our neighbors.
